KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 21): Bursa Malaysia has issued an unusual market actvity (UMA) query on Systech Bhd following the recent rise in share price and volume of the computer software firm.

"We draw your attention to the recent rise in price and volume of your company’s shares," Bursa Malaysia told Systech today.

Today, Systech shares rose as much as three sen or 10% to 32.5 sen before trading flat at 29.5 sen at 10.23am for a market capitalisation of RM94 million.

The most-active stock on the exchange saw some 43 million shares done.

Systech had risen 190% this year, significantly outperforming the FBM KLCI's 3% decline.

Over the last six months, Systech shares had risen from an intraday low of 9.8 sen on May 23 this year, according to Bloomberg data.
