KUALA LUMPUR (March 23): Bursa Malaysia issued an unusual market activity (UMA) query on the recent rise in Anzo Holdings Bhd's share-trade volume. Anzo is a timber-based entity.

Bursa said: "We draw your attention to the recent surge in volume of your company's securities."

At 12.30pm today, Anzo shares fell 0.5 sen or 1.6% to settle at 31 sen. Anzo was the second most-active stock on Bursa Malaysia with some 45 million shares traded.

Anzo had not responded to Bursa's UMA query at the time of writing.
