KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 30): Bursa Malaysia Bhd has made all its existing listing requirements and business rules available in Bahasa Malaysia (BM), aligned with the government’s efforts to empower the national language as a means of forging unity among the nation’s multiracial communities.
Apart from that, the exchange said the translated listing requirements and business rules in BM are part of its efforts to promote greater inclusivity and accessibility among market participants and investors.
“Given the diverse backgrounds of our market participants and investors, the BM translation of Bursa Malaysia’s listing requirements and business rules would facilitate better understanding and accessibility, as well as compliance with our rules,” chief executive officer Datuk Muhamad Umar Swift said in a statement on Tuesday.
