KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 8): Bursa Malaysia Bhd’s foreign shareholding slipped to 14.4% in January, the lowest on record, according to the latest updates on the bourse regulator and operator’s website on Tuesday (Feb 8).
The foreign shareholding stood at 14.5% in December 2021.
Bursa's foreign shareholding has been on a declining trend since April 2021, when it stood at 20%.
At 10.05am on Tuesday, Bursa was unchanged at RM6.46, valuing the group at RM5.17 billion.
