Bursa to close on Monday for special public holiday announced by PM

KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 25): Bursa Malaysia Bhd and its subsidiaries will be closed next Monday (Nov 28), in conjunction with the special public holiday announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on Thursday evening.

"Bursa and its subsidiaries will resume operations on Tuesday, Nov 29," the local stock exchange operator said in a statement on Friday.

On Thursday, the newly appointed PM announced that next Monday will be a public holiday in conjunction with the formation of a unity Government and his appointment as the country’s 10th PM.
