(Sept 17): Singapore’s Building and Construction Authority (BCA) has slashed its forecast for this year’s projected construction demand to between S$18 billion and S$23 billion. 

This is a S$10 billion plummet from the S$28 billion to S$33 billion value expected at the beginning of what was meant to be a good year for the construction sector, the authority announced on Sept 17.
