KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 20): The international reserves of Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) amounted to US$103.5 billion as at Sept 13, 2019, the central bank said in a statement today.
"The reserves position is sufficient to finance 7.6 months of retained imports and is 1.1 times total short-term external debt," BNM said.
On Sept 6, BNM said in a statement its international reserves amounted to US$103.5 billion as at Aug 30.
