KUALA LUMPUR (July 20): In conjunction with BMW Group's worldwide centennial celebrations, BMW Group Malaysia is introducing the new BMW 528i M Performance Edition, with only 100 units up for grabs.

"In the centenary year of the BMW Group, we at BMW Group Malaysia have not only continuously grown our strong portfolio of premium vehicles here in the country, but we are also constantly looking at opportunities to ensure that more of our Malaysian customers are able to enjoy the premium ownership experience of a BMW vehicle," said BMW Group Malaysia managing director and chief executive Han Sang Yun in a statement today.

"From new products and new industry leading warranty programmes to special benefits and gains from the customised EEV (Energy Efficient Vehicles) incentive programme, and now special limited edition cars, we are continuing our 100th year celebrations here," he added.

The new BMW 528i M Performance Edition is the mark of perfection, said BMW, as it provides an added motorsporting expression to the world's leading premium business sedan.

"In addition to its dynamic proportions and modern shape, the hallmark BMW kidney grille of the new BMW 528i M Performance Edition is now dressed in black, providing a more aggressive appeal to the car, as well as giving it its signature M Performance character," the premium automaker added.

The car is priced at RM363,800 (on the road, without insurance), and is available at all authorised BMW dealerships nationwide from this weekend onwards.
