KUALA LUMPUR (July 19): BMW Group Malaysia held an insightful discussion on empowering future mobility on July 12 at Quill Automobiles showroom in Petaling Jaya.

At the event, attended by distinguished guests including EY partners and EY Entrepreneur Of The Year (EOY) Malaysia alumni, EY's data & analytics partner Adrian Chew highlighted why future mobility and digital disruptions are key steps in the transformation of the automotive and other industries.

"This was followed by a presentation by Sashi Ambi, Head of Corporate Communications, BMW Group Malaysia, who shared how BMW is committed to building a comprehensive mobility ecosystem and providing intelligent, seamless and personalised mobility services for customers," the premier carmaker said in a statement today.

At the bespoke discussion night, BMW said the guests were treated to whiskeys, wines and canapés throughout the evening, as well as personalised gifts.

In addition, BMW also showcased the latest range of its premium cars, including the energy-efficient BMW i8, the high-performance BMW M5 executive sedan, and the all-new BMW 530e Sport, which is also the fifth BMW iPerformance model to be introduced in the country.

The event concluded with a show-stopping performance by singer-songwriter Poova, a four-time VIMA Music Awards winner.

BMW said it hosted the event in collaboration with EY EOY, the world's most prestigious business awards programme that recognises entrepreneurs who are building and leading successful, growing, and dynamic businesses on a regional, national, and global level in more than 145 cities worldwide.
