KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 24): Bintai Kinden Corp Bhd said today it has bagged a contract worth RM1.63 million from Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB).

Bintai Kinden said it received the contract via its wholly-owned unit Kejuruteraan Bintai Kindenko Sdn Bhd, which has been appointed as the contractor for reconfiguration and retrofitting works for a 132kV bulk supply to the main intake substation at KLCC2, Kuala Lumpur.

In a stock exchange filing today, Bintai Kinden said the job, to be completed in 214 days, is expected to contribute positively towards the group's revenue and earnings.

Bintai Kinden’s share price closed unchanged at 17 sen, with 588,600 shares done, valuing the group at RM49.23 million.
