KUALA LUMPUR: Bina Puri Holdings Bhd has won its second contract in the Pengerang Integrated Petroleum Complex in Johor, this time to construct six buildings for a sum of RM234.12 million.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Bina Puri said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Bina Puri Sdn Bhd, had accepted the letter of award from PRPC Utilities and Facilities Sdn Bhd to undertake the project. The completion period is 30 months.

It said the scope of work includes the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of the two main control buildings and four laboratory buildings, and external civil works which involve road pavement, drainage, water and sewage reticulation, and parameter fencing and gates.

With the latest award, the group’s unbuilt order book stands at RM2.8 billion.

“With this award, we have managed to secure RM1.17 billion [worth of] projects in 2015. We are still actively tendering for various projects both locally and overseas. We hope there will be more new projects before year end,” said Bina Puri.
