KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 22): Bina Puri Holdings Bhd’s unbuilt order book grew to RM2.01 billion, to date, after the company’s unit secured a contract worth RM64.99 million in Sabah.

In a filing Monday, Bina Puri said its unit Bina Puri Sdn Bhd had accepted the letter of award to undertake a project for the Sabah Administrative Centre in Kota Kinabalu.

It said the completion period for the contract was 16 months.

Bina Puri said it had secured new projects totalling RM760 million for 2014.

The company said the new contract was not expected to have any material effect earnings for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2014.

Bina Puri rose 0.94% or half a sen to 53.5 sen with 44,900 shares done in the morning session on Monday.
