KUALA LUMPUR (March 22): The international reserves of Bank Negara Malaysia increased to US$102.6 billion as at March 15, 2019, the central bank said today.

"The reserves position is sufficient to finance 7.4 months of retained imports and is 1.0 time total short-term external debt," Bank Negara said in a statement today.

On March 7, Bank Negara said in a statement its international reserves increased to US$102.4 billion as at February 28.
