KUALA LUMPUR (May 28): Astro Malaysia Holdings Bhd shares fell 13 percent, more than any full-day drop since the company's October 2012 initial public offering, as Malaysia's benchmark index declined.

Market Metrics

* Shares declined to RM1.39, the lowest level since October 2012, from RM1.60 in the previous session.

* Trading volume was more than double the 20-day average 

* The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI Index - Kuala Lumpur Composite Index lost 1.2 percent, and the MSCI AC Asia Pacific Index rose 0.1 percent.

* The relative strength index on the stock was below 30, indicating it may be oversold.

Market Insights

* Shares are at a 44 percent discount to the analysts' consensus target price. The stock traded at an average 14 percent discount over the past year.
