KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 28): Amanah Saham Nasional Bhd (ASNB) has declared an income distribution of 4.25 sen per unit for its ASN Imbang (Mixed Asset Balance 1) fund for the financial year ending Nov 30, 2019.

The total income distribution is RM55.53 million, said a statement from Pemodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB), which wholly owns ASNB.

This translates into a dividend yield of 4.51%, which is based on the ASN Imbang 1 fund's net asset value as of Nov 27.

Some 46,600 unitholders holding over 1.31 billion units will benefit from the income distribution.

As of Oct 31, ASN Imbang 1 recorded a net realised income of RM55.87 million.

PNB Group Chairman Tan Sri Dr Zeti Aziz said in the statement that the domestic equity market has continued to be affected by increased uncertainties following developments on several fronts, in the international and domestic environments.

As at Nov 20, the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (KLCI) posted a year-to-date return of -5.3% compared to -5.9% for the same period in 2018, she noted.

"Inevitably, the performance of ASNB unit trust funds would be affected by these developments," said Zeti, adding that the challenging global economic climate is expected to persist.
