KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 13): Asia Media Group Bhd saw 2.83% of its shares traded off-market today.

Bloomberg data showed one block of 5.4 million shares were traded at 10.24am and another block of 1.38 million shares at 3.04pm.

The shares exchanged hands at a discounted price of 0.5 sen apiece or a total of RM33,877 for the 6.78 million shares.

On the stock market, Asia Media shares closed unchanged at eight sen today, valuing the group at RM19.16 million. The counter saw 25,000 shares traded. 

A bourse filing today showed Asia Media executive director Liew Chee Keong had disposed of his entire shareholding of 5.4 million shares in the company.

The identity of the purchaser of Liew’s stake was not disclosed.

According to Asia Media’s FY18 annual report, the group’s largest shareholder was former non-independent and non-executive chairman Chow Zee Neng (6.13%), followed by Mohd Nasri Abdul Rahim (5.26%) and Gan Chia Hee (3.96%).
