KUALA LUMPUR: Ashley Furniture HomeStore has opened its first store in Malaysia in Citta Mall, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, after appointing Hauslife Furniture Sdn Bhd as its licensee and operator here.

Hauslife offers both retail products, such as Ashley Furniture’s products as well as its own brand of products, and project management solutions ranging from consultation to execution to suit their clients’ needs.

“Our partnership with a world leading furniture brand further solidifies our capabilities and passion towards offering stylish, durable and affordable home furnishings to our discerning customers,” Hauslife founder and chief executive officer (CEO) Yu Kong Cing said in a statement. The store, measuring 800 sq m, offers a one-stop furniture sourcing platform and is Ashley Furniture HomesStore’s first store outside the US that features the brand’s latest store design and layout.

“We understand that every customer who walks into our store does so by choice, which means that we must deliver outstanding quality and service to each and every one of them,” said Ashley Furniture HomeStore president and CEO Todd Wanek.
