KUALA LUMPUR (June 13): The National Higher Education Fund Corp (PTPTN), through its “Stay Safe & Win SSPN-i 2021” campaign, is offering almost RM240,000 worth of prizes up for grabs.
In a statement, PTPTN said the campaign is open to all depositors of Skim Simpanan Pendidikan Nasional (SSPN-i) who open new accounts or top up their existing accounts during the promotion period from June 1 to Sept 30, 2021.
To participate in the campaign, customers are required to have a minimum RM200 when opening a new account, or top up RM200 into their existing accounts during the period. They are also required to maintain the amount for three months after the end of the promotion period, from Oct 1 until Dec 31, 2021. In addition, each deposit of RM50 will automatically entitle the depositor to one draw.
Under this campaign, 39 winners will be selected under three categories. The grand prize is a Proton X50 for the Platinum category, a Perodua Myvi 1.5 cc for the Gold category, and a Yamaha Y15zr motorcycle for the Silver category.
Participants also have the chance to bring home jewellery, laptops and cash for the second, third and consolation prizes under each respective category.
PTPTN chief executive officer Ahmad Dasuki Abdul Majib said the campaign is part of PTPTN's efforts to ensure Malaysians always prioritise savings for the future, while keeping themselves and their families safe amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
“By adopting "Stay Home, Stay Safe", we can continue to spur the culture of savings by saving through online channels that make it easier, faster and safer. Let's seize this golden opportunity,” he added.
Meanwhile, PTPTN said depositors of SSPN-i account can enjoy various benefits that SSPN-i offers, such as tax assessment relief of up to RM8,000, attractive dividends, ringgit-to-ringgit takaful protection for free, and a free matching grant of up to RM10,000 for eligible depositors.
