<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>In a bourse filling, Alam Maritim said its wholly-owned Alam Maritim (M) Sdn Bhd has been awarded the contracts, which commenced on Oct 8. The contracts are for a primary duration of 393 days, with an option to extend for another 30 days.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>“The contracts are expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net tangible assets [of] Alam Maritim and its group of companies for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2019 [FY19] to 2021 [FY21],” it said.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>“Notwithstanding this, the contracts will not have any material effect on the share capital and shareholding structure of Alam Maritim,” it added.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Alam Maritim's share price closed at 13 sen, up 0.5 sen or 4%, giving it a market capitalisation of RM131.66 million.</p></div>
