KUALA LUMPUR (June 20): Aeon Credit Service (M) Bhd's managing director (MD) Kenji Fujita is retiring from his position effective today.
According to a series of bourse filings, Fujita, 49, will be succeeded by Yuro Kisaka, 44.
Fujita was first appointed to the group's board on June 19, 2013 and was made MD on June 23, 2014.
Meanwhile, Kisaka was the MD of Aeon Microfinance (Myanmar) Co Ltd since November 2012.
Kisaka was also Aeon Credit's credit card business and new business development department senior manager from March 2011 to May 2011.
Separately, non-independent and non-executive director Tetsuro Takano, 57, is retiring from his directorship today, with Masaaki Mangetsu, 61, appointed as his replacement on the group's board.
At Bursa Malaysia's midday break today, Aeon Credit was 0.12% or two sen higher at RM16.56 — with 445,400 shares traded — giving it a market capitalisation of RM4.15 billion.
