<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>In a statement today, SC said the updated list, effective tomorrow, features a total of 669 Shariah-compliant securities. These securities constitute 74% of the total 905 listed securities on Bursa Malaysia.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The list includes 20 newly classified Shariah-compliant securities and excludes 15 from the previous list issued in November 2015.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The full list, which is updated twice a year, is based on companies' latest annual audited financial statement. The current list is now available on the SC website.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The next updated list will be made available in November, based on the review of the audited financial statements released up to Sept 30, 2016.</p></div>
