PETALING JAYA (Aug 17): Developer S P Setia Bhd expects the extension of EcoHill 2 Link at Setia EcoHill 2 by S P Setia is expected to provide immediate relief to more than 50,000 people in Beranang and Semenyih who regularly commute to Kuala Lumpur and other cities.

Upon opening of the entire stretch, the 5.2km extension of EcoHill Link, which currently connects Jalan Semenyih and ultimately to LEKAS, will cut the travel time between Beranang and the LEKAS-Semenyih Interchange from 30 minutes to just 10 minutes, it said in a press release today.

“S P Setia invested approximately RM80 million on the construction of the new link road and improvement of the existing infrastructure. We worked towards ensuring that the road construction would be ready before the owners of phase one move into their new homes,” said executive vice president Datuk Tan Hon Lim.

With the completion of EcoHill 2 Link, the public will now have easy access to two new parks in Setia EcoHill 2 — the 17-acre South Creek and the 18-acre Adventure Park.

“We are happy to announce that we will officially be opening the South Creek community park to the public this Sunday,” Tan continued, adding that there will be several activities for families that day.

“Our parks are open to the public and we would like to welcome everyone within the vicinity to take part in the recreational activities that we are organising here,” he added.

According to the developer, 354 units of homes in the township will be completed and handed over to buyers by end of this month.

Meanwhile, it is also working on Barras, the first of the starter homes series in Setia EcoHill 2.

This collection of 20ft by 70ft 2-storey terraced homes are priced from RM 513,000 onwards and is due for completion in 2020.
