Musical Production

A workshop production produced by Asyraf Dzahiri will be held at Twenty20Two this weekend. The Working Dead is an original Malaysian musical about Edwin, a salaryman who works hard to support his family. When he unexpectedly dies, his demanding boss hires a bomoh to bring Edwin back as a zombie so he can finish his work. It’s up to Edwin’s brave wife Sarah to save the day. As this is a workshop production, the shows will present intimate, scaled-down previews of major scenes from The Working Dead. Audience feedback from these shows will be used during the production of a larger scale version of this show in the future. The shows take place today (8.30pm), tomorrow (3pm & 8.30pm) and Sunday (3pm & 8.30pm) at Twenty20Two, Petaling Jaya. Book your tickets now at https://workingdead-firstworkshop.peatix.com.
