SKITS

Find the new sound you are looking for with the band SKITS. The band’s repertoire is influenced by punk, indie tunes, and cultural music, and the hit track Fall from Grace from their album BUT NO made it to Time Out magazine’s list of the Top 30 Local Tracks of 2016. Intim Sessions #6

The music series by KLpac is back for its first show of 2018. The showcase takes off with folk musician Izzul Syafiq Mazlan, known to original songs about the values one should live by. Also performing are singer-songwriter duo Hani and Zue, winners of the group category at the 2013 Rising Star Grand Finals, a competition organised by Follow Me and The Star. The show takes place tomorrow at 8.30pm, in the Indicine at KLpac, Sentul Park, Jalan Strachan, off Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah, Kuala Lumpur. Admission is by minimum donation of RM15. Denise Mininfield and Lewis Pragasam

Denise Mininfield first stepped into the world of music with a flute, which she began playing in the fourth grade in Berkeley, California. Three years later, she launched into singing, and has since gone on to perform with the likes of Bill Summers, Rodney Franklin, Sheila E, and more. Catch this enigmatic singer alongside drummer and percussionist Lewis Pragasam, at 10pm today and tomorrow. The trio of penguins, however, are best friends who all want to make it to safety together, so the smallest one ends up smuggled aboard in a suitcase!
