KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 3): Malaysia's Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) has succeeded in its bid for Iran’s upstream oil and gas (O&G) projects, following a pre-qualification tender scheme, according to National Iranian Oil Co.
According to National Iranian Oil's website, Petronas is among 29 global companies chosen to participate in Iran's O&G projects.
"The published list is relevant to applicants which have been qualified in prequalified Iran's O&G upstream projects tender round," National Iranian Oil said.
Besides Petronas, the list includes Indonesia's Pertamina and Thailand’s PTT Exploration and Production Public Co Ltd, according to National Iranian Oil.
