KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 15): UEM Sunrise Bhd was among the top five gainers this morning, rising up as much as 4 sen or 3.4% to RM1.21.

This is the highest price the stock has charted in the past four months, since hitting RM1.22 on Oct 14 last year.

Last week, the company announced that it will invest RM250 million in the infrastructure development of the Southern Industrial and Logistic Clusters (SILC) — Nusajaya's flagship industrial project in Iskandar Malaysia, Johor — over the next five years.

On Feb 8, the company announced that it has successfully completed its issuance of RM100 million in nominal value of Islamic Commercial Papers (ICPs) under the ICP Programme.

At 10.52am today, UEM Sunrise shares were up 1 sen (0.85%) to RM1.18, with 18.37 million shares traded, surpassing its 200-day average trading volume of 4.9 million shares. It has a market capitalisation of RM5.31 billion.
