KUALA LUMPUR (July 1): Fixed-line telecommunications provider Time Dotcom Bhd declared today, a special interim single-tier dividend of 73.5 sen per share for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2015 (FY15).

The ex-date for the dividend is July 31, while the entitlement date is July 15, its filing with Bursa Malaysia today showed. The dividend is payable on July 29.

Time Dotcom (fundamental: 2.4; valuation: 0.8)’s previous dividend distribution was declared in February this year — an interim single-tier dividend of 5.6 sen per share for FY14. The said dividend was paid at end-March.

In its first quarter ended Mar 31, 2015 (1QFY15), the group registered a net profit of RM56.58 million, almost double the RM29.42 million it saw a year ago, backed by a revenue of RM171.71 million, which rose 30.2% from RM131.88 million in 1QFY14.

Time Dotcom’s share price has appreciated RM1.96 per share or over 40% since Jan 2, to close at RM6.85 apiece today. It has a market capitalisation of RM3.88 billion.
