KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 2): ICT training and certification provider Prestariang Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary Prestariang Systems Sdn Bhd has been awarded a RM20 million contract by the Ministry of Higher Education to supply Autodesk software services, aligned with the Industry Based Certification Programme to public universities, polytechnics and community colleges under the ministry.

The contract will be for two years, from Nov 2, 2015 to Nov 1, 2017.

"The supply of Autodesk software services is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings and net assets per share of Prestariang group," it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.

Prestariang said the contract will not have any effect on the share capital and substantial shareholders' holdings in Prestariang.

It added that the supply of the software services is a continuous initiative since 2006, which is in line with the ministry's Higher Education Blueprint's objectives.

Prestariang shares rose seven sen or 3% to close at RM2.41, bringing a market capitalisation of RM1.13 billion.
