KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 19): Cypark Resources Bhd has received a letter of intent (LoI) from Perbadanan PR1MA Malaysia (PR1MA) for the latter to en bloc purchase 562 units of PR1MA Homes in Sungai Long, Selangor, at a price mutually to be agreed by parties.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, Cypark said the PR1MA Homes comprise apartment units and nine shoplot units that are situated on an 8.64-acre piece of freehold Malay Reserve Land in Sungai Long.

"PR1MA and Cypark and H.N. Ventures Sdn Bhd (the proprietor) shall execute a definite contract within three months from the date of this LoI or any other extended date as determined by PR1MA," said Cypark.

It added that the parties have executed the LoI on Feb 12.

Cypark said the project is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings of the group.

"The board of directors of Cypark is of the opinion that the project is in the best interest of the group," it added.

Cypark shares closed two sen or 1.22% lower at RM1.62 today, for a market capitalisation of RM407.82 million.
