KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 7): Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor announced today that the group’s cash offer of RM1.75 per Century Bond Bhd share has been extended from Dec 13 previously to Dec 27.

Concurrently, trading of Century Bond’s shares will only be suspended on Jan 4, 2017, five working days after the cash offer’s new expiration date.

Yesterday, the group called for interested shareholders to refer to the terms and conditions as well as the procedures involved for accepting the offer.

Up to Dec 7, KPS held 109.05 million or 90.87% Century Bond shares.

The group, which is 57.88% owned by Selangor state’s investment arm Kumpulan Darul Ehsan Bhd, initiated the take-over exercise of the cement packaging player in August.

Shares of KPS remained unchanged today at RM1.12 each, for a market capitalisation of RM558.89 million.
