KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 11): Investor Koon Yew Yin has ceased to be Latitude Tree Holdings Bhd's substantial shareholder, after disposing of 321,600 shares in the integrated household furniture manufacturer on Nov 24 last year.

According to the company's Bursa Malaysia filings today, Koon had, between Nov 11 and Nov 23, acquired, transferred and disposed of a multitude of Latitude's shares.

The period saw a net disposal of 1.44 million shares and that following the shareholding changes, left Koon with 5.08 million shares or a 5.23% stake of the company prior to his cessation as a substantial shareholder.

Koon started to acquire Latitude shares since Oct 2, 2014 and emerged as a major shareholder with a 5.01% stake.

Latitude was the third top gainer across the bourse today, after rising 5.97% or 45 sen to RM7.99, though it only saw a slim volume of some 362,700 shares being traded. The current price gives it a market capitalisation of RM732.9 million.
