<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>In a statement, the company said Murdoch is stepping down to pursue his personal goals. Pierre Savy has been nominated as acting CFO, and will start his new role with immediate effect.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>“Mr Murdoch will continue to support Mr Savy in this transition period, until his official last day,” said Bumi Armada in a statement.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>According to the company, Savy has been an integral part of the finance and project organisation since May 2015. Before joining Bumi Armada, he served as finance director of SBM Offshore in Kuala Lumpur and was the CFO of Technip Asia Pacific.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Bumi Armada fell 0.5 sen or 0.66% to 75 sen today, giving it a market capitalisation of RM4.4 billion.</p></div>
