KUALA LUMPUR: Harbour-Link Group Bhd has clinched a contract from Chevron Malaysia Limited to build two diesel and petroleum storage tanks for a total of RM21.2 million.

Harbour-Link said yesterday its wholly owned subsidiary Eastern Soldar Engineering & Construction Sdn Bhd had last Friday signed an agreement with Bahamas Islands-incorporated Chevron Malaysia to construct one storage tank each in Pasir Gudang Terminal, Johor, and Prai Terminal in Penang.

Harbour-Link said the contract comprised civil work and tank foundation, site preparation, erection and related piping and drainage of the two tanks. It added that the construction of the tanks is expected to be completed before May 2010.
