SINGAPORE (Nov 11): Global Invacom Group said today it has completed the acquisition of Israel-based OnePath Networks.

The satellite equipment specialist said the acquisition was satisfied a cash consideration of US$3.5 million ($4.5 million) which was raised from its UK AIM placing completed in July.

OnePath, trading as Foxcom on AIM, is one of the pioneers in Radio Frequency (RF) over fibre technology and provides products and services to major satellite operators, teleports and broadcasters in over 35 countries.

Its extensive product applications range from in-building wireless coverage, multi-family housing TV distribution and Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) to satellite ground station connectivity.

Global Invacom said the acquisition will help it gain new technologies, expand market reach and grow its network of broadcasters.

Leveraging on OnePath’s US-based sales team, its customer base in North and South America and its network in the military sector, Global Invacom plans to expand its footprint in existing and new geographies while entering new product markets as demand for Sat Comms equipment grows.

Global Invacom ended yesterday 1.3% lower at 38.5 cents.
