KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 5): Willowglen MSC Bhd’s Singapore unit has secured a contract worth RM14.39 million to provide supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) and radio frequency identification (RFID) solutions.

The contract was awarded to wholly-owned Willowglen Services Pte Ltd by SP PowerAssets Ltd, a Singapore electricity distribution services firm.

The job involves the design, supply and installation of the SCADA and RFID systems for an existing cable tunnel, Willowglen said in a stock exchange filing today.

The one-year contract is non-renewable and is scheduled to be completed by Dec 3, 2019, the group said.

“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings and net assets per share for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2019 [FY19],” it added.

Shares of the SCADA provider closed unchanged today at 45 sen, giving the group a market capitalisation of RM223.2 million.
