KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 9): Vizione Holdings Bhd rose 3.33% in active trade this morning after The Edge Malaysia reported that Vizione has secured a construction job worth about RM400 million following the completion of a reverse takeover exercise last month.

At 10.20am, Vizione rose half a sen to 15.5 sen with 31.8 million shares done, for a market capitalisation of RM397.16 million. Year to date, the counter has gained about 33.62%.

In its report for the week of Oct 9-15, 2017, The Edge, citing sources familiar with the matter, said the work is related to building affordable housing in Kuala Lumpur.

"This will boost the group's current order book of RM3 billion by 13.3%," it said.

Currently, the company has a tender book of about RM2 billion.

Vizione plans to focus on affordable housing projects in Klang Valley, which are easier for developers to sell. This is also to ensure that the company has a higher chance of getting paid for its work.

Vizione was formerly known as Astral Supreme Bhd.
