<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the group said the umbrella contract is for the provision of a HWU to undertake workover services for Petronas Carigali, for which UMWOG will assign its HWU — UMW Gait 6.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>“On assumption that services under the contract are requested by Petronas Carigali, the contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of UMW-OG for the financial period ending Dec 31, 2018, and the financial periods in the duration of the contract as well as for the extension, if the option to extend is exercised,” said the group.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>UMW-OG shares closed unchanged at 30.5 sen today, giving it a market capitalisation of RM2.51 billion.</p></div>
