KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 2): UEM Sunrise will launch a low-density condominium in Mont'Kiara here comprising only 240 units in the middle of this month, said its managing director and CEO Anwar Syahrin Abdul Ajib.

"We are launching Astrea next week. It has a gross development value [GDV] of RM350 million and is situated in a very strategic location in Mont'Kiara. We always believe the right project in the right location can sell no matter what the time," he told press on the sidelines of the partnership with Grab Malaysia today at Publika.

Besides Astrea, Anwar said the group may launch another project before 2019.

"Astrea will be launched, that's for sure. We may add up a bit more if we want. We have another pending project launching in Johor," he shared.

He added that the group will have projects with GDVs of between RM350 million and RM500 million to launch for the rest of this year.

"We are also on track to achieve our whole year sales target of RM1.2 billion. We will go out to look for the right market. We may need to sacrifice some margin for that [to achieve the sales target] but so far we are on track," he noted.
