<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 8): UEM Sunrise Bhd (UEMS) today said its chief operating officer for development Datuk Roslan Ibrahim is relinquishing his role following his transfer to UEM Group Bhd.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, UEMS said the transfer was under the UEM Talent Mobility Programme to take up strategic assignments.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Roslan had joined the UEM Group in 2006 with cross functional experience from his background in engineering and construction as well as business development.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>UEMS said Roslan started his career in 1981 and has been involved in several mega projects including the Peninsular Gas Pipeline, the 55-storey Menara Telekom, the Putrajaya Bridges and the Petronas Twin Towers.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>In the area of Business Development, he secured maiden projects in Sudan and Dubai during his tenure with MMC Engineering Group Bhd and IJM Corp Bhd respectively, it said.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>At the midday break, UEMS fell 1.9% or 1.5 sen to 77.5 sen with 201,300 shares traded.</p></div>
