KUALA LUMPUR (May 5): Three-A Resources Bhd is hopeful of a better financial year due to its strong cash flow position and better prospects in the food and beverage (F&B) industry.

“We have a strong cash flow position [RM17.06 million as at end-Dec 2014], and our buyers are the big players in the F&B production, and the demand for F&B products will always be there, considering that we have a population that is growing at a rate of 3% to 4% per year,” its chairman Datuk Mohd Nor Abdul Wahid told reporters after the group’s annual general meeting today.

Three-A Resources manufactures products such as liquid caramel, caramel colour, and hydrolysed vegetable protein (HVP).

For its financial year ended Dec 31, 2014 (FY14), the group reported a 76.5%  increase in net profit to RM18.21 million, from RM10.32 million in FY13; while revenue grew 2.8% to RM311.41 million, from RM302.91 million.
