KUALA LUMPUR (June 28): Luxury serviced office and co-working space provider Colony is set to open its third location at KL Sentral by the end of this year, Colony Space Asia co-founder and executive director Timothy Tiah told EdgeProp.my today.

The latest office will be located at the MSC-status Q Sentral and can accommodate over 200 guests in private offices and fixed desks.

The company will also be investing into luxurious fittings for its workspaces and has committed a RM4.5 million investment on this new location.

“People used to ask me where the next Colony would be. The answer to that is really easy. Colony will be present in all the prime locations in each city we’re in. Our first location was in KLCC area, the second in KL Eco City and now the third one in KL Sentral”, said Tiah.

He added that KL Sentral is known for being Malaysia’s largest rail transportation hub, offering connectivity and effortlessly integrating commercial, industrial, urban and suburban residential areas.

“As KL Sentral develops dynamically with the surplus of residents and day-to-day visiting tourists, it has become a coveted international business address,” he said.

In April, the one-year-old company sold a stake to Cornerstone Partners at a valuation of RM64 million to RM80 million.

The next month, Colony announced that it had signed on its largest anchor tenant to date – a regional food importer and distributor – at its KL Eco City location in a RM5.6 million deal.

Meanwhile, Colony general manager Nitaya Pirinyuang said: “We can’t wait to introduce Colony’s brand as well as our excellent range of workspace solutions and signature hospitality to people who may be interested in setting up an office or working in KL Sentral.”

Colony’s first office space at Jalan Kia Peng was opened July last year while its second office, Colony KL Eco City is set to officially open its doors on July 18.
