<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>“During his absence, Mohamed Azman Shah Ishak, the chief financial officer (CFO) of TH Plantations, who is also a principal officer, will assume the day to day management of TH Plantations and its subsidiaries,” the group said in a filing today. &nbsp;</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>TH Plantations did not say why Zainal Azwar is on garden leave.&nbsp;</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Azman Shah, 51, is a chartered accountant with an accountancy degree from University Pertanian Malaysia.&nbsp;</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>He started his career as an audit executive in Island &amp; Peninsular Bhd in 1989, before joining several other companies and later became CFO of the plantations group in year 2010 onwards, the filing said. &nbsp;</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Shares of TH Plantations closed unchanged at 71.5 sen today, giving the group a market capitalisation of RM623.05 million.</p></div>
