KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 16): Tenaga Nasional Bhd, Gamuda Bhd and IOI Properties Group Bhd have been added into the Dow Jones Islamic Market Malaysia Titans 25 Index following its third-quarter review.

i-VCAP Management Sdn Bhd, which manages the MyETF Dow Jones Islamic Market Malaysia Titans 25 (MYETFDJ) told Bursa Malaysia yesterday Tenaga, Gamuda and IOI Properties replaced MISC Bhd, QL Resources Bhd and KPJ Healthcare Bhd.

MYETFDJ uses the Dow Jones Islamic Market Malaysia Titans 25 Index as benchmark. i-VCAP said S&P Dow Jones Indices informed i-VCAP on the review.

i-VCAP said : "As a result of the review, three stocks were added and three stocks were removed from the benchmark index, while the weightings of the remaining stocks in the benchmark index have changed."

"The changes shall take effect after the close of trading on 15 September 2016," i-VCAP said.

Weightings for existing constituents of the Dow Jones Islamic Market Malaysia Titans 25 Index have changed compared to the preceding second quarter. These include a decrease in Sime Darby Bhd and Petronas Gas Bhd weightings, according to i-VCAP.

i-VCAP said weighting upgrades were seen in stocks including Hartalega Holdings Bhd and Genting Plantations Bhd.

i-VCAP is a 100%-owned subsidiary of Valuecap Sdn Bhd. Khazanah Nasional Bhd, Permodalan Nasional Bhd and Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (Diperbadankan) equally own Valuecap.
