KUALA LUMPUR (June 21): Tenaga Nasional Bhd lost as much as 22 sen or 1.5% after the state-controlled utility said the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) and Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB) cut their stakes in Tenaga. 

Tenaga shares fell to their lowest so far today as RM14.10.

At 3:24pm, the stock shed losses at RM14.20 to become the 10th-largest decliner on Bursa Malaysia.

Tenaga saw some seven million shares traded.

According to Tenaga's announcement to Bursa Malaysia today, the EPF was a net seller of Tenaga shares on Friday (June 16), after acquiring and selling 1.51 million and 3.86 million Tenaga shares respectively.

After the transactions, the EPF held a 13.09% stake in Tenaga.

In a separate announcement, Tenaga said Malaysian Government-owned fund manager, PNB's Amanah Saham Bumiputera, disposed of 1.44 million shares on Monday (June 19). Following the sale, Amanah Saham Bumiputera held a 6.1% stake in Tenaga.
