Technology stocks dip on global tech rout

KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 21): Technology-related stocks on Bursa Malaysia fell this morning following the overnight rout of tech stocks.

World stock markets fell on Tuesday as worries over softening demand for the iPhone prompted a sell-off in tech stocks around the world, according to Reuters.

At 10.55am, the technology index fell 1.57% or 0.54 points to 33.95.

Among the decliners were Elsoft Research Bhd, Frontken Corp Bhd, GHL Systems Bhd, Globetronics Technology Bhd, JCY International Bhd, KESM Industries Bhd, Mi Equipment Holdings Bhd, Malaysian Pacific Industries Bhd, Notion VTec Bhd, Pentamaster Corp Bhd and VitRox Corp Bhd.
