KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 11): TechnoDex Bhd has bagged a hardware and software maintenance service contract from the Ministry of Finance (MOF), valued at RM6.93 million, inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST).

The open source based business software developer told Bursa Malaysia in a filing today that it had received a letter of acceptance from the valuation and property services department of MOF, Malaysia, for the above contract on Nov 5, 2015.  

According to TechnoDex, the contract was for the provision of property information system Malaysia (PRISM) hardware and software maintenance in the valuation and property services department, subject to the terms and conditions stipulated in the LOA.  

The contract is for a period of two years and three months, commencing Sept 1, 2015 until Nov 24, 2017.  

It said the contract will have a positive effect on the revenue or earnings of the group for the financial year ending April 30, 2016 and is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings and net assets of the group.

Shares in TechnoDex inched up 0.5 sen or 4.35% at 12 sen today, for a market capitalisation of RM43.17 million.
