KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 29): Tan Chong Motor Holdings Bhd changed the corporate title of Datuk Khor Swee Wah @ Koh Bee Leng to group chief executive officer from group senior executive vice president.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, Tan Chong Motor said the change will be effective on Jan 1, 2018, and it does not affect Khor’s capacity as an executive director of the group.

Khor, 69, is spouse to Tan Chong Motor’s President and major shareholder Datuk Tan Heng Chew, she was appointed to the group’s board of directors as executive director on Mar 22, 2013.

Tan Chong Motor’s share price gained seven sen or 5.22% to close at RM1.41 today, giving it a market capitalisation of RM920.25 million.

For the whole year, the counter has dropped by 20.79% from RM1.78 on Dec 29 last year.
