KUALA LUMPUR (June 30): Sunway Velocity, a development project by Sunway Properties, has received an overwhelming response at the launch of its latest phase, with a take-up rate of 90 per cent.
Sunway Velocity's residential development, V Residence 2, consists of 334 units with a Gross Development Value (GDV) of RM382 million, while its commercial development, Signature Shop and Office, consists of 50 units and 30 units respectively, with a GDV of RM250 million, the developer said in a statement.
Executive Director of Property Development Division, Central Region, Ong Ghee Bin, attributed the success of Sunway Velocity to its central location, excellent accessibility and integrated components.
"Sunway Velocity offers the benefit of the city centre location, with its easy connectivity with the rest of the Klang Valley, as well as the availability of full amenities and facilities that are usually offered by a mature township," he said.
He also added that public transport, especially the MRT, was among the key attractions of Sunway Velocity.
