Trading of the shares in MKH Bhd (fundamental: 0.85/3, valuation: 2/3) also triggered our momentum algorithm yesterday for the first time this year.
The stock closed two sen or 1.63% lower at RM1.21, after 1.14 million shares were traded, compared with the counter’s 200-day average of 215,074 shares.
For the fourth quarter ended Sept 30, 2018, MKH’s net profit rose 34% to RM5.17 million compared with RM3.87 million in the previous year, mainly due to higher revenue from its property and construction division.
The group’s revenue rose 28% to RM333.49 million from RM260.98 million a year ago.
For the full year, net profit fell 46% to RM69.03 million from RM128.21 million previously, despite revenue rising marginally to RM1.08 billion from RM1.07 billion.
MKH is currently trading at 0.46 times its net book value.
