KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 4): Spring Gallery Bhd’s chief executive officer Datuk Lim Chaing Cheah has resigned from the loss-making group.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the ceramics and pottery products manufacturer said Lim resigned to “focus on ceramic business at the subsidiary level”.

Spring Gallery did not name any successor for Lim.

In a separate filing, Spring Gallery said it has appointed Rasydan Alias Mohamed as an independent non-executive director, replacing Amirul Azhar Baharom, who resigned today for “other personal and business commitments”.

Spring Gallery’s share price closed unchanged at 79.5 sen, giving it a market capitalisation of RM157.89 million.
